"Lift Me Up" comes out on July 9th : The latest single of the upcoming 2-part EP "Caffeine Addiction" by Olipage

With a memorable performance at Rockfest and a Canadian Tour behind him, Montreal’s Looper Olipage is back with a personal project confessing his heavy addiction to caffeine : a 2-part EP titled "Caffeine Addiction" coming out on September 10th for part 1 and on October 10th for part 2. It's first uplifting folk single "Lift Me Up" will be available as of July 9th.

Often described as the "augmented reality" version of a singer songwriter due to his background as an engineer, his songs and performances are a meeting point between folk, rap, comedy and the sleep deprivation from late night coffees that fuel his lyrics.

«Lift Me Up» is the calm progressive soundtrack you hear when you finish running the last 100 meters of a marathon reminding you that everything is surmountable. Dates for the launch parties will be announced on the single's release day via his music podcast "Backdoor Montreal"!

Artist Bio

Olipage is what happens when an engineer quits work to make music.

With a memorable performance at Rockfest and a Canadian Tour behind him, Olipage is the one-man looping machine of Montreal. Often described as the "augmented reality" version of a singer songwriter due to his experience as an AV engineer, his songs and performances are a meeting point between folk, rap, comedy and the sleep deprivation from late night coffees that fuel his lyrics. Greatly influenced by the works of Muse, James Blake and Marc Rebillet, Olipage’s vision is to inspire anyone feeling “out of phase” and longing for greater things to let go of fear and accomplish their dreams.

Olipage is now releasing his « Caffeine Addiction » project in which he exposes the influence of caffeine on his creative process notably through the music video of « Shove It » which has been well-received by music blogs such as TalkAboutPopMusic, FVMusicBlog and "Music & Fashion Blog".
